Natasha Newton is an artist and illustrator inspired by the landscapes, forests, and wildlife of the UK. Born in Suffolk and currently living within the Surrey Hills National Landscape, her art celebrates the changing seasons of the countryside that surrounds her home and studio.

Strongly influenced by folk art, Natasha’s compositions blend observation and imagination, with a focus on the textures and patterns found in nature. Her frequent inclusion of a humble cottage or two in her landscapes represents the safety and comfort of home, a quiet sanctuary and a place to escape the busy modern world.

Natasha has recently started to experiment with slow stitching, cross-stitch, freestyle embroidery, and punch needle. You can find a selection of these projects on the website.

Earlier in her career, Natasha worked on commercial illustration commissions, including illustrating book covers and magazine articles, alongside exhibiting with numerous galleries in the UK and overseas. She now concentrates entirely on her personal work, selling original paintings and prints directly to collectors exclusively through her shop.

Natasha releases collections throughout the year, so please join the mailing list newsletter to receive a notification when new work becomes available.
